In 2022, I was commissioned to carve historic West African masks for artist Yinka Shonibare CBE RA.
These masks featured as part of Yinka's art works at the following exhibition:

With only a photograph as a reference, these masks are first modelled in clay before hand carving in laminated sheets of Quebec pine.
