Laura Anderson is a British sculptor based in North-East London.

While living in Australia, Laura studied for a BA in Sculpture at the National Art School in Sydney. After completing her BA in 2008, Laura went on to show her work in group exhibitions in New South Wales. She also won a Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize at the South Australian Museum and the National Archives of Australia in Canberra where her work was exhibited.

On returning to live in the UK, Laura continued to exhibit her sculptures in London and went on to study for a Diploma in Historic Wood Carving & Gilding at the City and Guilds of London Art School (2016-2017).

Laura has completed a number of wood carving-sculpture commissions for clients including The Fishmongers' Company in London, RHS Wisley (involving the Duchess of Cambridge and the Blue Peter children's television programme), the National Trust, artist Yinka Shonibare CBE RA, Shonibare Studio, the Royal Academy of Arts, and artists Jane and Louise Wilson RA.

From 2017-2019, Laura was chosen to be the artist-in-residence at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow, London. This culminated in an exhibition at the William Morris Gallery in 2019.

Laura continues to take on commissions and develop her own sculpture practice.
