Carved wooden mask for Yinka Shonibare CBE RA, 2021
In 2021, I was commissioned to carve a Senufo Kpeliye'e mask for Yinka Shonibare CBE RA.
With only a photograph as a reference, this mask is first modelled in clay before hand carving in laminated sheets of Quebec pine.
